Fried Rice

Whip up a flavorful and filling Breakfast Fried Rice with this easy recipe. Packed with vegetables, ham, and eggs, this dish makes a perfect choice for a satisfying breakfast or a delicious brunch.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 cup mixed peas and carrots
  • 200 g ham steak, diced
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup dry rice
  • 1/4 cup Tamari sauce
  • Salt and pepper

How to make

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the yellow onions, peas, and carrots.
  • While the vegetables are sautéing, cook the rice with 2 cups of water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to low heat for 12 minutes.
  • Add the diced ham steak to the pan with the vegetables.
  • Stir in the whisked eggs and scramble until well combined with the other ingredients.
  • Add the cooked rice to the pan, along with the Tamari sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Sauté everything for an additional 3 minutes and serve.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
